1. Young rising Indian paddler Jeet Chandra stunned world no. 2 Manav Thakkar in straight sets to clinch the U-21 men's singles title at the Oman Open.

2. The formidable ATK claimed an unprecedented third Indian Super League (ISL) title triumph with a 3-1 victory over arch-rival Chennaiyin FC in a summit showdown that was played behind closed doors.

3. Siddhant Chaturvedi was awarded 'Best Debut Male' and Ranveer Singh won the ‘Best Actor (Male) in a Leading Role’ award for his performance in ‘Gully Boy’ at Zee Cine Awards 2020.

4. The Minister of State (I/C) for Power and New and Renewable Energy and Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri R K Singh launched the new website of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

5. The Wire's senior editor Arfa Khanam Sherwani, Bengaluru-based independent journalist Rohini Mohan and Chennai's independent data journalist Rukmani. S has been awarded the prestigious Jasmine Devi Jain Award. All three have been jointly given this honor as the best female journalist of the year 2019.

6. Veteran politician and one of the founding members of PPP, Dr Mubashir Hasan, passed away in Lahore. He was 98.

7. The Goods and Services Tax Council decided to increase GST rates on mobile phones to 18 per cent from 12 per cent with effect from 1st of April.

8. The Wire‘s senior editor Arfa Khanum Sherwani and freelance journalist Rohini Mohan have jointly won the Chameli Devi Jain Award for Outstanding Women Mediaperson, 2019.
